Pocket PC Presentation Solution

BUG NOTE 1 : Serious bug in Microsoft ActiveSync found by CodEngine

SYMPTOMS:

When user remote control Pocket PC, the ActiveSync connect will break down sometimes.
  When user copy file from Pocket PC to desktop,the ActiveSync connect will break down.
For demostration purpose, we make a normal legal bitmap file contains this "break pattern".

Usage:(1). Download or Click "Save as" save this file.
          (2). Copy it to Pocket PC
          (3). Connect Pocket PC using ActiveSync.
                Copy this file from Pocket PC to Desktop.The ActiveSync will disconnect immediately.

You always can NOT copy this file from Pocket PC to desktop PC via ActiveSync !

CAUSE:

When user transfers a segament of speciafic data pattern from Pocket PC to desktop PC, the ActiveSync connect will break down.The "break pattern" file can be bitmap, program file(exe,dll), web pages...

No matter what application on Pocket PC,send these patterns to desktop,the ActiveSync connection will shutdown.

SOLUTION:

1.Using simple desktop or theme.Don't running unnessary applications when remote control via ActiveSync

2.Remote control Pocket PC using wireless/TCP/IP to avoid this problem.
